Synergy between AEWEN and Agreemed project

On September 25th, 2023, the AGREEMed Project team in Tunisia (CERTE) has   participated to the event organized within the framework of AEWEN project (African-EU Water and Energy Network).The AEWEN project integrates four well established European clusters specialised in complementary areas of energy and water; Tenerrdis as coordinator of the project and based in Grenoble, France, ENVIRONMENT PARK based in Turin, Italy, the Catalan Water Partnership (CWP), based in Girona, Spain and Tweed based in Liège, Belgium. 

AEWEN (African-EU Water and Energy Network) is a COSME European project, whose aim is to develop and implement a joint internationalisation strategy to help European SMEs go international in three specific selected African countries, (Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia) and help respond to the African demand for green Energy and water solutions. The AEWEN Project will last 30 months, up to March 2024.

Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia have been selected as the three target countries for the project because of their expected growth in the renewable energy sector and a good ranking in the World Bank’s “Doing Business” 2020 study.

The first day of the event was dedicated to the meeting between local actors and institution and the European companies which participated to the event. The event was an opportunity to discuss different opportunities of collaboration and partnerships. The CERTE team presented the AGREEMed project in the B2B session with the European and Tunisian organisation in order to check different opportunities related to the project.
